Part of a competition entry for a University Campus, the exhibition hall is sited on the island of Poveglia in Italy.

The concept takes inspiration from the existing structures of the Venice Arsenale, using the timber a-frames as a starting point and the orientation of the auditorium and promenade overlooking the Venice Lagoon.

The interior space is divided into the main auditorium space, entrance foyer, bar/restaurant, facilities and an external amphitheater that can be used in the summer for performances.
