BoxBoxBox

Located in a forgotten industrial building in Eibar, Spain, BoxBoxBox stems from a local post-industrial context as an alternative to demolition. The project is a low-cost proposal driven by social and environmental sustainability.

The proposal attempts to fulfill the high demand for multi-functional and economically affordable spaces in the area.

Affordable rent provides access to young professionals and entrepreneurs. The standardised construction system of pre-fab timber boxes inserted into the existing concrete shell allows the users to customise the space by using a ready-made kit of parts that uses recycled materials along the different stages of the buildings life.
